Fees (technical)

This page describes where fees are taken at the contract level. For the user-facing summary and the (not yet set) rates, see Fees.

Protocol fees

Both are routed to the protocol treasury and used, in full, for $TRANT buybacks and to fund new listings. See Tokenomics → Fee policy.

Oracle final fee

Each price request carries a fixed final fee paid to the oracle system, plus the request's ooReward to the proposer. On a liquidation dispute these are covered by the bonds already posted; on an expiry settlement they are drawn from the synthetic's parameters set at creation.

Keeper costs

Liquidators and rebalance keepers post bonds and pay the oracle costs up front, and are made whole by the reward when their action is validated. These are participant costs, not protocol fees. See Liquidatable and the Rebalance engine.
