Selling $TRANT

Forward specification

This page describes the intended design, not shipped software. The only behaviour live on-chain today is synthetic position creation. The $TRANT token, bonds, staking, liquidity pools and mining, trading, liquidation, and oracle mechanics described across these pages are specified but not built or deployed. See Technical overview.

Selling works the same way as buying, a swap against the open-market pool. The protocol does not buy the token from you; the buyback policy operates on the open market like any other participant.

How to sell

  1. Open the Swap page in the TRANT app and select the $TRANT pool.
  2. Enter the amount of $TRANT to sell. The app shows what you receive and the price impact, larger sells relative to pool depth move the price more.
  3. Approve the router for $TRANT, then confirm the swap and sign.

$TRANT earned from liquidity mining is claimable and freely tradable. $TRANT from a bond can only be sold once it has vested and been claimed.
