Lending capital
Opening a bond means lending an accepted asset to the protocol in exchange for $TRANT at a discount, released over a vesting schedule. The capital you lend becomes protocol-owned liquidity.
- Open the Bonds page in the TRANT app. Each bond shows the asset it accepts, the current discount, and the vesting term.
- Pick a bond and enter the amount you want to lend. The app shows the $TRANT you will receive and when it unlocks.
- Approve the bond contract to spend that asset, one-time per asset.
- Confirm Bond and sign in your wallet.
A bond is one-way
Once opened, a bond cannot be cancelled and the discount is locked in at that moment. The discount can go negative if the market price of $TRANT falls during vesting. Only lend what you are willing to commit for the full term.
